JONESVILLE, MI (WLNS) An abandoned building in Jonesville is being restored to its former glory.

But it could also bring in new business for the area. 6 News Genna Hilgenbrink went to Hillsdale County to see how a big building can help a small town.

A single plan hopes to bring this old building back to its former glory. This old toy building is going to be turned into an apartment complex that will bring both residents and consumers to Jonesville.

The plan is to break ground this spring and restore that old toy building into a home for up to 80 residents.

The project will take eight to 12 months to finish.

But residents are hopeful the building will continue Jonesville’s development.
